embracing the ordinary: tips on photographing your kids

Fun fact, my kids are why I started photography. When my daughter was born 14 years ago, I was gifted my very first camera (a Nikon D3100, I'll never forget you!). As a stay at home mom, I loved just documenting our days. The best images were when she wasn't looking. It was authentic, it was effortless, it was real life and that's what I wanted to remember. Fast forward 14 years later, I still LOVE to do this. And no, you don't NEED a professional camera either!
