Your job is just to show up and soak it in.

I specialize in newborn and milestone photography and work out of my in-home studio located in Bottineau, North Dakota. As a mom of 2, I know that this stage of life is exhausting, chaotic, and honestly over WAY too fast. My job is to slow it down long enough to give you a gallery of images that feel like a memory you can step back into.

Somewhere along the way, a certain country song about how “you’re going to miss this” hit a little too hard. And it’s true, the tiny hands, the sloppy kisses, the gummy smiles… they don’t last. That’s why I photograph this stage the way I do: patiently and intentionally. I understand kids may need time to warm up. That’s why my sessions are baby/child-led and less focused around time.

When I’m not photographing babies, I’m probably chasing my own kids around with my camera or deep into a Pinterest rabbit hole building mood boards for future sessions. Oh, and I should probably mention my husband: my extremely dedicated (and extremely unpaid) assistant — always building me whatever I need to make my Pinterest boards a reality.

Sessions with me are baby-led, safety-focused, and intentionally calm. You don’t need to know how to pose your baby or when to smile, it’s my job to guide you.

Photography has always been close to my heart. I can still picture myself as a little girl, wide eyed at my grandma’s Polaroid camera and the magic it created. Years later, when I became a mom, everything shifted. With my daughter, I found my passion; with my son, I found my purpose. They made me realize how fleeting the little details are: the tiny fingers, the sleepy smiles, the everyday moments, and how only a photograph can keep them safe.

My children are the ones who sparked this fire in me, and they continue to inspire everything I do.

Mexican food is my favorite! Don't forget the margarita - on the rocks, please.

My husband and I got married on Halloween but not by choice.... it was the Covid era, enough said.

I have two cats and they're polar opposites. One of them is overly friendly and no one even knows the other one exists.

My kids have an eleven year age gap but they're still the best of friends... when my youngest isn't picking on my oldest.
